We have large quantities of some of the cheapest good quality English oak that you will find which is suitable for many applications. We specialize in traditional flooring with a huge selection of large planks up to 16 feet long and 26 inches wide many of which have burr markings (cats paw). The standard plank we provide is smooth sawn and just over 1 inch in thickness however it may be possible to provide timber to order.
Although we specialize in oak flooring we also provide timber for a wide spectrum of customers most commonly for barn conversions but some of which include Builders Merchants, Joiners, Boat Builders, Wood Turners, Cabinet makers and Furniture Restorers.

Some of our timber is kiln dried but the majority is air dried in a barn with 1 inch sticks between each plank. Also we have 2 inch and 3 inch slabs.
The wood we have varies from well seasoned to green oak and has the waney edge on the planks, however this can be ripped to give straight planks if you wish. We also have large quantities of Beech, Pine, Ash and Elm all of which are often similar in size to our standard oak plank.
If it is required we can plane the timber for you at a supplementary cost.
For those cabinet makers that are looking for quarter sawn oak we regularly have large quantities, also for the wood turners out there you may like to see our assorted pieces of burr oak.
Even though our timber is sold at cheap prices it is of high quality and some of which has recently been seen by English Heritage with outstanding compliments.
